End User License Agreement

1. Purpose

This End User License Agreement (EULA) governs the use of the Hephaistos application. By installing or using the application, you accept the terms of this agreement.

2. License Granted

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Hephaistos application on your personal devices.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the application
Attempt to disassemble or decompile the source code
Use the application for illegal purposes
Sub-license or transfer your license to a third party
Circumvent technical protection measures

4. Cloud Subscription (optional)

The Hephaistos Cloud subscription is an optional LLM hosting service. Purchase terms are managed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store depending on your platform. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase. You can cancel at any time from your Store settings.

5. Intellectual Property

The Hephaistos application, its code, design, and trademarks remain the property of their respective authors. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.

6. AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by the LLM are provided "as is". We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

The application is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the authors be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application.

8. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate any of its terms. You may also revoke it by uninstalling the application.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
